POINT 3 Basketball has announced it has entered a partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) whereby the organizations will work together to instill positive values into the culture of youth basketball. The joint effort is based around shared interest in prioritizing work ethic, sportsmanship and teamwork in sports. As part of the agreement, which fosters POINT 3’s mission of “We Care About Basketball”, POINT 3 will donate a percentage of all shipping and handling fees to PCA.
“It is an honor for us to partner with Positive Coaching Alliance,” said Michael Luscher, Founder & CEO of POINT 3 Basketball. “Their ideals and mission are a great fit for how we see the game, and how we believe youth sports should be approached in general. We look forward to helping spread PCA’s message to youth basketball coaches, players and parents around the country.”
In addition to financial support, POINT 3 will feature PCA content and spokespeople across all POINT 3 social media and marketing channels. As an official partner of PCA, POINT 3 will be featured in relevant content within PCA’s websites at PositiveCoach.org and PCADevZone.org, a collection of nearly 1,500 free multimedia resources for youth and high school sports coaches, parents, student-athletes, administrators and officials.
“POINT 3 Basketball and its ‘We Care About Basketball’ initiative aligns with the principles of Positive Coaching Alliance,” said PCA National Business Development Director Jason Sacks. “The player-centric orientation of POINT 3’s products and messaging reinforces PCA’s focus on doing what is right for youth in sports.”
