Standing at 6’7”, this sharp shooting swingman is ready to strike at a moment’s notice. Coming out of Florida State in 2004, he is a versatile player who can play either small or power forward. He considered one of the most reliable players in the history of the Seminoles' men's basketball program. Michael Joiner has also earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Florida State in 3 ½ years. Michael has made many stops in his career where he has been productive on every team. Away from the court, Michael owns and operates his own sports academy where he teaches his athletes the fundamentals of the game of basketball to make them better players. His Born2Win Sports Academy teaches important skills for players of any age, position, or ability and will work on specific needs. Michael Joiner has had a very respectable pro basketball career under his belt which has given him the tools to do great things off the court as well.
Started training in Sioux Falls, SD at Tibbs in 2009-2010 basketball season while playing in the NBDL for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. It was there that I learned and fell in love with player development. Not only was I teaching others the game, but I was also teaching myself the basic fundamentals as well. I've trained both boys and girls from ages 8 to college and professional athletes.
